Aussie Style

All eyes are on us as legendary Street Style photographers Tommy Ton and Nam from STREETFSN turn their attention to Sydney Fashion Week. And while the Paris / New York / Milan Fashion Week coverage is no less than mind blowing, it’s exciting to see our own backyard streets captured. So, if like me you haven’t made it up to Sydney, you may want to check out this first trickle of shots from the week. Already loving the pink denim and fur combo, Alexandra Spencer’s over sized Tee and Rumi’s Phillip Lim trench paired back with Zara bleached cut offs xx

Pajama inspired style

Anyone who watches the Kardashians (and is willing to admit it) may have noticed Kourtney Kardashian’s tendancy to lounge about in silk pajamas. Could it be possible this pregnant mother of one is responsible for the pajama inspired trend sweeping the fashion world? Call it art imitating life or life imitating art, but it’s evident from the streets to the high end fashion houses. Pajama inspired pants and sets challenge the notion that feeling sexy and feeling comfortable are mutually exclusive. I once read that the difference between French women and American women is French women greet their men in sexy silks and American women in sweat pants.  Not to say that sweat pants aren’t sexy. But  Could Kourtney Kardashian be on to something?
